Introduction
Ticket Generator allows event organizers to upload custom ticket designs and further enhance them using Canva’s design editor. With the Canva integration, users can access professional design tools such as fonts, shapes, images, and templates to customize ticket layouts easily.
This feature simplifies the design workflow and ensures that tickets align with the event’s branding or theme before finalizing them in Ticket Generator.
A. Access the Canva design editor
To edit a custom ticket design using Canva, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Ticket Generator account
- Go to Manage Events and open the required event
- Click on the Ticket Design tab
- Under Upload Your Design, upload a custom ticket design file
- Once the file is uploaded, click Edit Design from the top-right corner
- Select Connect to Canva
The system redirects the user to Canva, where the uploaded ticket design opens in Canva’s design editor.
B. Edit and save the design in Canva
Inside Canva, the ticket design can be customized using the available tools:
- Modify the layout using text, images, shapes, and graphics
- Adjust the position and size of elements using Canva’s drag-and-drop editor
- Apply brand colors, fonts, or templates as needed
Once the design is finalized:
- Click Save or Publish in Canva
- Return to the Ticket Generator account
The updated design automatically appears under the Ticket Design section for the selected event.
C. Important notes
- This feature is available only when uploading a custom ticket design
- A Canva account is required to use the design editor (free or paid)
- Design changes are applied only after saving the design and returning to Ticket Generator
