This article explains how to use the Schedule Send feature in Ticket Generator to send tickets at a specific date and time. This is useful for organizing timely ticket delivery for upcoming events.
When generating and sending bulk tickets, there is an option to schedule the delivery time for recipients. This feature ensures that tickets are sent at the intended time through email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Note: This feature is available only for bulk ticket generation, not for individual tickets.
A. Access the Schedule Send option
To use this feature, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Ticket Generator account
- Go to Manage Events and select your event
- Navigate to the Guest Tickets section
- Click on the Bulk Tickets tab
- Select Generate and Send
B. Upload recipient data
After choosing your preferred delivery channel (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp):
- Upload a CSV file with guest details
- Or manually enter the data in the inline editor
Once the data is added, click Generate and Send.
C. Choose delivery time
You will now see two delivery options:
- Send Now: Tickets are sent immediately
- Schedule Send: Choose this to send tickets later
If you select Schedule Send:
- A calendar and time picker will appear
- Choose the date and time for ticket delivery
- Click Schedule
The system will automatically send the tickets to all recipients at the selected date and time.
D. Important notes
- Scheduled batches are only available in the bulk ticket flow
- You cannot schedule delivery for tickets generated individually
- Make sure your event activation time allows for ticket validation at the scheduled time
