Introduction
Organizers may need to cancel tickets and issue refunds to attendees for various reasons. This process can be easily managed through the Ticket Generator platform. The following guide explains how to cancel a ticket and issue a refund from the organizer’s side.
A. Access the Event Registration Page
- Log in to the Ticket Generator
- Navigate to the Event Page: From the dashboard, the organizer should select the specific event for which ticket cancellation is required
- Go to the Registrations Section: Under the event page, the organizer needs to find and select the Registrations section to view the list of attendees who have registered for the event
B. Find the Attendee's Registration Details
- Search for the Attendee: The organizer can search for an attendee using the phone number or email address provided during the registration process

View Attendee Details: After locating the attendee, the organizer should click on the eye icon under the "Actions" column to view detailed information about the registration
C. Cancel the Ticket and Process the Refund
- Locate the Payment Details Section: In the attendee’s profile, scroll to the Payment Details section at the bottom of the page

Click on 'Refund': An option to Refund the payment will be visible in this section. The organizer should click on this option to initiate the refund process

Confirm the Refund: A confirmation page will appear, asking for final confirmation of the refund. The organizer must review the details and click Confirm to proceed

Refund Processed: After confirmation, the refund will be processed, and the ticket will be automatically canceled
D. Confirmation and Email Notification
- Refund Confirmation: Once the refund is successfully processed, a message will appear confirming that the ticket has been canceled and the refund has been issued
- Email Notification to the Attendee: A confirmation email will be sent to the attendee, notifying them of the refund and cancellation
Additional Notes:
- The refund process is final, and once completed, the ticket will be marked as canceled
- It is important for the organizer to have the correct attendee details (such as email or phone number) to ensure the cancellation and refund process goes smoothly
