This article outlines various methods to distribute tickets for the events created using Ticket Generator.
Distributing tickets effectively is crucial for event management. Ticket Generator offers multiple distribution methods to ensure that tickets reach the attendees efficiently. This article provides an overview of each method and its usage.
A. Generate and Download
- Log in and Go to Manage Events > Select the Event > New Tickets > Bulk Tickets
- Click on Generate and Download
- Specify the number of tickets to download and Click on Generate
- A pop up will appear for confirmation and then tickets will get downloaded.
B. Generate and Send
- Log in and Go to Manage Events > Select the Event > New Tickets > Bulk Tickets
- Click on Generate and Send
- Add email address, phone number, and no. of tickets as per the choice to generate and send tickets or upload a data file and enter the data manually in data fields
- Click on Generate and Send
C. Event Page
- Log in and Go to Manage Events > Active Events > Select event
- Go to Event Page and Click on Setup Event
- Design the event page with the components listed
- Once the components of the registration form are selected, select the registration settings for the Event Page

After finalizing the settings, click on 'Generate Link'
- There will be two displayed links—one for testing, and the other will be the Live URL. Copy paste the Live URL and use it on the online platforms to enable the guests to register for the event
D. Generate via API
Using this method, generate tickets by calling the APIs provided by us. Call our API using the API access token or without it. However, when you call the API without the access token you will receive a sample ticket and not the actual one, but on the contrary when you call the API with the actual access token then you will receive a real ticket belonging to the selected event.
To generate:
- Copy your API Key
- Select the Event for which you wish to generate tickets
- Click on View Docs. You will then be redirected to the API Playground
Using this API, it is possible to create and get a ticket for an event in multiple ways - Create and get a QR Code and ticket ID only, create and get a ticket in PNG, and create an email/SMS ticket directly to the recipient
