This article provides guidance on troubleshooting issues related to undelivered tickets in Ticket Generator, ensuring that your guests receive their tickets seamlessly.
A. Email
- The recipient's mailbox is full or the recipient's email address is not valid
- The ticket email has gone to their spam folder:
- Either the source email (tickets@ticket-generator.com) could be marked as BLOCKED in the recipient's emailing server. Blocked emails automatically go to the spam folder
- Or a spam filter is preventing the messages from being delivered to the recipient's mailbox. Please ask your recipients to check their spam folder
- The recipient server (domain on which the customer email works, for example, gmail.com in guest123@gmail.com) is experiencing issues, preventing delivery of the incoming email. e.g. the mail server of the recipient is unavailable
B. SMS
Below are the reasons why the SMS (sent via Ticket Generator) bounces :
- The recipient’s phone number is not formatted. Please use the country code with the phone number e.g. +91999912312
- Attempting to send a message to a number that has opted out of receiving messages using a STOP keyword
- The destination carrier is reporting the recipient's number as unreachable - the device is likely powered down, out of the service area, or may not accept your messages
- The recipient's phone number carrier we are sending the ticket to is not a supported carrier. Messaging Client (+13475999416) supports most carriers worldwide, but there are still carriers that we do not yet support
C. WhatsApp
Below are the reasons why the WhatsApp (sent via Ticket Generator) bounces:
- The WhatsApp account is not registered on the recipient's phone number
- The recipient’s phone number is not formatted correctly. Please use the country code with the phone number e.g. +91999912312
- Attempting to send a message to a number that has opted out of receiving messages from our WhatsApp SPN account by blocking it or marking it as spam
