Understanding how to identify and manage bounced tickets can help event organizers ensure all attendees receive their tickets. A. Common Reasons for Bounced Tickets
Tickets may bounce due to several reasons related to email delivery issues. Common causes include:
- Full Mailbox: The recipient's mailbox has exceeded its storage capacity, preventing new emails from being received
- Incorrect Email Address/Phone Number: The email address/phone number provided is invalid or contains a typo
- Promotional IP Address Block: Emails sent from the system's IP address are marked as promotional and blocked by the recipient's email service provider
Understanding these issues can help in troubleshooting and resolving delivery problems.
B. How to View Bounced Tickets
- Login to Ticket Generator Account
- Navigate to Manage Events and choose the Active Event where tickets were sent
- Click on Guest Tickets in the event dashboard
- Select the Generate and Send tab
- Click View under Bounced Tickets on the right side of the screen
C. Managing/Resending Bounced Tickets
To address/resend bounced tickets, check the following steps:
- Verify Email Addresses/Phone Numbers: Check for typos or errors in the recipient's email address/phone number

Resend Tickets: Use the Resend Ticket option to resend tickets to the correct email address:
- Search for the bounced ticket by Ticket ID, Email ID, or Phone Number
- Click on the View button for the ticket you wish to resend from the list
- Now resend the tickets on the new/correct email ID (keep the new/correct email as CC)
Notes:
- Bounced ticket information becomes available one hour after a ticket batch has been sent
- No ticket credits will be used for resending the tickets
- Event Organiser can also get a copy of this ticket by keeping their email ID on BCC while resending
