Sending tickets via WhatsApp is a convenient feature offered by Ticket Generator. It allows event organizers to send secure tickets directly to their guests through WhatsApp, a popular and widely used messaging service.
A. Sending Tickets via WhatsApp using Create Ticket > Single
- Go to Ticket Generator and log in using the credentials
- Find the specific event and click on the three dots to access more options, then select Generate Tickets
- Click on Guest Tickets > New Ticket(s) and then click on Single Ticket
- Select the Action as Send Ticket via WhatsApp option and add the guest's phone number
- The ticket will be sent to the given phone number after clicking on Generate and Sent. A WhatsApp declaration will pop up for confirmation, which needs to be confirmed
B. How to Send Tickets via WhatsApp using Generate & Send
- Go to Ticket Generator and log in through the credentials
- Find the specific event and click on the three dots to access more options, then select 'Generate Tickets’
- Go to Ticket Design and design the ticket by uploading the ticket design or use the standard template
- On the bottom of the page, there is a choice to add variable information placeholders as part of the ticket design (up to 5 header-value sets)
- Click on Guest Tickets > New Ticket(s) and then click on Bulk Tickets
- Select Generate and Send and choose via WhatsApp
- A declaration box will appear. Note that it is mandatory to give consent to continue Sending the Tickets via WhatsApp (Also choose a combination of options available)
- Click on Next
- Upload the Data File in CSV, XLS, or XLSX formats or Enter the Data Manually
- Click on Generate & Send to send the Tickets via WhatsApp
- In the pop-up that appears click on the Confirmation box and then Confirm
- Tickets will now be sent to the Guests via WhatsApp
Predefined WhatsApp Templates
Below are the available WhatsApp templates in various languages. By default, Template 1 of the English language is used, but it can be changed each time a ticket is sent via WhatsApp.

Note: Please check the ticket by sending a Sample Ticket before sending the real tickets if not confirmed and the Phone Number should be in international format (i.e. with country code) such as +1-855-440-7400.
