Ticket Generator offers multiple registration approval methods to ensure that only approved attendees can participate in an event. Depending on the event requirements, organizers can choose to automatically approve registrations or manually review each request before confirmation.

A. Automatic approval
Automatic approval allows registrations to be confirmed immediately without requiring manual intervention. This method is suitable for events where attendee vetting is not required.
Steps to enable:
Log in to the Ticket Generator account
Navigate to Manage Events
Select the event for which automatic approval needs to be enabled
Go to the Event Page and click on the Settings tab
Locate the Manually Approve Registrations setting
Click Edit Settings and switch off the toggle
Click Update Settings to apply the changes
Once this setting is configured, all new registrations will be automatically approved.
B. Manual approval
Manual approval requires each registration to be reviewed and approved by the event organizer before confirmation. This method is useful for events where organizers want to screen or verify attendees.
Steps to enable:
Log in to the Ticket Generator account
Navigate to Manage Events
Select the event for which manual approval needs to be enabled
Go to the Event Page and click on the Settings tab
Locate the Manually Approve Registrations setting
Click Edit Settings and switch on the toggle
Click Update Settings to apply the changes
After enabling this setting, registrations will remain pending until they are reviewed by the organizer.
C. Approve or reject registrations
When manual approval is enabled, organizers can review each registration and decide whether to approve or reject it.
Steps to review registrations:
Navigate to the Registrations tab for the selected event
Review the registration details of each attendee
Click Approve to confirm the registration
Click Reject to decline the registration
D. Refund for rejected paid registrations
If the event is a paid event and manual approval is enabled, rejecting a registration automatically triggers a refund.
Key points:
When an administrator rejects a paid registration, the refund is automatically initiated
No additional action is required from the organizer
Once the registration is rejected and refunded, no further actions can be taken on that registration
This ensures that attendees are refunded promptly if their registration is not approved.
